Project Description

Guyra Shire is located at the top of the Northern Tablelands in the New England region of New South Wales, approximately half way between Sydney and Brisbane. Guyra has a population of 2,200, and is a community dependent on the fortunes of agriculture. It produces fine wool, cattle and prime lambs, and also has a small potato industry.

Stage 1 of Tomato Exchange Guyra was completed in 2005 and consisted of 5ha of high pressure fog supply and installation.

In 2006 Tomato Exchange engaged AIS Greenworks again for their stage 2 development of 5ha. For stage 2 our responsibilities increased to civil design for heating, CO2, irrigation, drainage and rain water harvest. At the completion of the design phase we were awarded to contract to supply and install all irrigation systems, high pressure fog and recycle and drainage systems.

Stage 3 developments at Guyra were complete in 2008, and consisted of 10ha, with our role once again stemming from civil design as per stage 2 and then with the same responsibilities in supply and installation.
