Denmark: Jan Rosenlund of nursery Roslil about the Aqua Hort
The nursery Roslil mainly uses its indoor area of 1.2 ha for cultivation of Hedera. The nursery is equipped with an Aqua-Hort installation which has kept their fungus sensitive crop free of disease in the company for many years now.
Jan Rosenlund reports that using the Aqua-Hort makes the crop a pleasure to work with. Before the machine was installed in the greenhouse, they had problems in the summer due to Phytopthora attacks. In the winter, bad roots was an issue. Both problems are now solved. As Jan says: “Aqua-Hort gives us great benefits, and is very easy to use and maintain. The costs of the machine were earned back within one year.”
